Alp X

Alp X is a model without precedent. It takes the ALP concept and brings it closer to the more modern tastes of those who have rediscovered the world of scramblers. The Alp X shares its core components with the Alp 4.0, but shifts its character towards the Modern Classic segment by adding specific road bike characteristics, such as 17" and 19" wheels with more road-specific tires and more narrowed plastic parts, improved on the round headlight. The Alp X has a completely different appeal, becoming the perfect bike for city trips and long-distance trips, while always being ready to hit the dirt roads. The Alp X - like the Alp 4.0 - allows a comfortable ride for the passenger as well, thanks to the adjustable seat and the comfortable handles for the passenger. The Alp X is a user-friendly motorcycle par excellence.

Technique

Engine: The new Alp 4.0 and Alp X models are designed for a 350cc engine developed in collaboration between Betamotor and Tayo Motorcycles engineers. The new electronic injection power unit, developed specifically for this project, is capable of delivering up to 35 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. In order to use the full potential and all the available power, the engine was equipped with a six-speed transmission that offers a top speed of over 130 km/h. Thanks to reduced fuel consumption and an 11 liter fuel tank with a reserve of 2.3 liters, the new ALP offers an impressive range that allows it to make long off-road trips far from gas stations. The engines of both models differ in their mapping, which is designed to guarantee the highest possible level of performance for both models. Frame and suspension: Frame: the frame of the new ALP bikes is a steel perimeter with the motor suspended underneath, in black. This confirms at the same time the strength and controllability of the motorcycle thanks to the dimensions of the frame developed by Betamotor technology, which allows it to work in perfect synergy with the suspension. Suspension: both the front fork and the rear mono-shock are set up to ensure the most possible riding fun while maintaining a focus on comfort and comfort in the saddle. Seat Height: The seat height is 86mm for the Alp 4.0 and 855mm for the Alp X, confirming good ground contact on both models and helping to feel secure in the saddle on and off the road, even for less experienced riders. The saddle is extremely comfortable for both rider and passenger. Brakes: both models are 290 mm front and 220 mm rear disc conditions, with Nissin brake cylinder and calipers guaranteeing braking performance and modulation for all. The BOSCH ABS system is also part of the standard equipment. This driving aid is designed to guarantee the highest level of safety and can be deactivated in the Offroad map, but it is automatically restarted every time the motorcycle is started, so that there is no danger that you can activate it again. ABS activation can be checked via an indicator on the instrument LCD display, which also provides fuel level, range and gear information, as well as traditional information such as speed, tachometer and TRIP and odometer, all with modern and easy-to-read graphics . The main differences and peculiarities that distinguish Alp 4.0 and Alp X: Alp 4.0 is equipped with 18" and 21" wheels and tires intended more for off-road; The Alp X manual, on the other hand, is equipped with 17" and 19" wheels, again on spoked wheels, but with tires more suitable for road driving, although they maintain a profile that will still provide a good off-road experience. In terms of aesthetics, the two models differ in the shape and finish of their bodies, with the Alp X having more tapered plastic parts to accentuate its modern classic style, while those of the Alp 4.0 are more veiled. The Alp X line is perfectly matched with the new best round headlight, while the 4.0 version sees a more square looking headlight that still uses LED lighting technology. A common element in terms of aesthetics is the new low license plate holder, which is not connected to the hood, but is located directly on the rear wheel for a modern street style. The range of accessories for the new generation ALP includes hand guards, panniers and a top case.
